1st Class Carpenter

Able to read and interpret standard construction drawings, specifications, and other technical publications.

Good working knowledge of shipboard joiner and insulation systems.

Can fabricate and install furniture, cabinets, consoles, and other outfit and furnishing items without supervisory guidance.

Familiar with all aspects of craft-specific marine outfitting activities, from design through final shipboard installation.

Versed in applicable commercial and military specifications and standards.

Must be able to work in confined/enclosed spaces.

Must be able to work/climb in elevations greater than 5’.

Must be able to wear/work a respirator when applicable.

Minimum 3 months carpentry experience
